Interesting study results about vegan diet and environmental damage
There was a study performed in the UK that was published on the Nature few days ago, with a title, “Vegans, vegetarians, fish-eaters and meat-eaters in the UK show discrepant environmental impacts”.
According to the study, a vegan diet results in 75% less emissions, water pollution and land use when compared with more meat-heavy diets. Also reduces the destruction of wildlife by 66% and water use by 54%.
But to be honest, I’m a meat lover :’) it would be hard for me to change my diet in short amount of time… but! To all the meat lovers – we can contribute to climate action by not wasting food!! 🙂
