The 14th ASEZ WAO Environmental Seminar Held in Mandaluyong, Philippines
A Step Toward Nurturing Healthy Forests
On March 9, the 14th ASEZ WAO Environmental Seminar was held at the Centre for Environment, Innovation and Technology(CEIT) Building of Rizal Technological University (RTU) in Mandaluyong, Philippines. The event centered on the Mother’s Forest project and was organized by the ASEZ WAO (Young Adult Worker Volunteer Group of the World Mission Society Church of God) Mandaluyong Branch. The seminar highlighted the environmental benefits of tree planting, and explored diverse initiatives such as campaigns and forums that utilize tree planting to protect and restore the environment. About 180 participants, including RTU students enrolled in the National Service Training Program (NSTP)1, attended the event and gained a deeper awareness of environmental issues. ROTC officials who attended the seminar also showed their support by signing a pledge of endorsement for ASEZ WAO, encouraging the members’ continued environmental efforts.
